La Cumbrecita is a little town situated in Sierra Grande reached only through a rubble path generally well maintained.
It has got an alpine style in its constructions and hotels hidden in the bushes. This Swiss landscape is completed in winter with the snowfall.
Pedestrian town ; since 9th July 1996, vehicles are not allowed in the city centre and the town is considered a protected enviroment zone.
History : In 1934, Helmut Cabjolsky (a famous doctor) built houses to lodge his European family which is today La Cumbrecita Hotel. His relatives ran a nursery which origined the vast plantation that there are nowadays in this zone.
