Montevideo is the capital of República Oriental del Uruguay. It was founded in the XVIII century and since then it has kept an European style which can be seen in its architecture
It is situated in front of the sea and has 20 km of beaches. One of the best places to visit is the port, there you could find restaurants, musicians, local craft makers and drawers among other things . There you could also have the possibility to taste different kinds of food  from the most simple ones to the most sophisticated.
The carnival is one of the most typical celebrations in summer. It is full of joy and happiness.
