Rio Grande is situated in the north of Tierra del Fuego, it is also called the garden city.
It is a natural and different place situated at 365 km from Rio Gallegos. It is the capital of the province and the industrial and economic center of the island .

Since its beginnings it has been related to the industry but in the last years it has had a great development because there have been a lot of electronic machines factories in the city.

Apart from being an important city full of wide avenues and nice houses , it has been turned into an ideal zone for the sport-fishing. This city is also chosen by foreign tourists in order to practise Fly and Cast and spinning.

In Rio Grande the tourist will be in touch with the virgen nature. There are places which the man has not yet touched. The visitor could watch the rivers, the famous “fueguinos” park and the lakes surrounded by woods and mountains.
It is also offered the typical food and dishes from the place and the possibility of doing safaris, cavalcade, walks along the coast, trekking and so on.
